What to Expect

          What are the services like?

The Promise's sevices begin with an energetic worship experience that
engages all. During this portion you are free to stand, sit, kneel, clap, or
lift your hands in worship to our Lord as we know that our worship is
about connecting with God, not about outward appearances.

There is also a time available for personal prayer when you may come
forward to receive prayer for your needs. The remainder of the service
is devoted to the presentation of God's Word by Pastor Mark or a
                            special speaker.

How do I get to The Promise Church?

The Promise is located at 2050 Westmoreland Rd. in DeSoto, Texas.
Visit our directions page for more information.

         What should I wear?

Attire at The Promise Church ranges from business suits and jeans to
t-shirts and shorts. We do not strive to impress others with fashion
statements, but instead reach out to connect to God. Dress how you
                           feel comfortable.

         What about my children?

Elementary and preschool age children have special services and groups
designed for their unique needs during all services, as do nursery age
children too. We assure a safe environment for your children to be ministered to.

Your children can be checked in to their appropriate classes in the
Student/Children wing of the complex. Visit our Children Ministry page
(Future Promise) for additional information about classes.
